APPLICATIONS TRAINER

Currently, we are seeking a high energy Applications Trainer to join our team. As an instructor and mentor, your goal will be to help your students improve their skills and advance their careers through IT training.

This position reports to the Training Manager, and in addition to teaching technical classes, certified technical trainers at New Horizons assist with assessing client needs and designing customized training solutions, so applicants should have an understanding of common business processes and requirements and have the ability to communicate technical requirements to business decision makers.  Position can be located in Plantation or Miami.  Individual must be able to travel to both locations.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates MUST possess:

  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years teaching experience
  • Familiar with online live training

Ability to quickly learn and clearly convey technical information

In addition, well qualified candidates will possess additional knowledge and certifications in the following areas:

  • MOS or MCAS certification on Office 2003, 2007, and / or 2010
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite ( CS 4 or CS 5 )
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
